Recent paintings explore the intersection of this moment – a moment to pause and reflect – with balance, the balance of reaction or response.

Several of these works result from very different, earlier incarnations. This is not to perfect a previous image but as impetus for the new; to coax into existence,  a form hovering below textured layers.
